Antione Aquilina returned to his winning ways grabbing the first World Ranking Tournament of the season. With an excellent performance Aquilina defeated team mate Kevin Mercieca 8-2 in the final. Thanks to this final both players have now secured a place in the national team that will be participating in the World Championships in Blackpool, England, in June

Stephen Scicluna left his mark winning his first ever ranking tournament in his career. In the final Scicluna had the better off veteran Brian Grech with an 8-6 victory that booked him a place in the national team that will be representing Malta in the World Championships being held in Blackpool, England, in June.


Dejan Grech was in great shape and form outclassing Ryan Pisani in the Under 23’s category final. The Senglean produced a great performance and went on to beat his category rival 8-2. This was Grech’s fifth final of the season from which he grabbed three victories.


Christian Spiteri won his fourth tournament of season this time beating Steve Muscat 6-4 in the final. Muscat started on a good note winning the first two frames but Spiteri recovered well and reconfirmed his supremacy in this category.
